Caddick attend this year's British Construction Industry Awards

The best of the British Construction Industry were gathered for the annual awards and the Caddick team had all fingers crossed for their outstanding Emerald Headingley Stadium to take home the Culture & Leisure Project of the Year prize.

Unfortunately, we didn’t get to lift the trophy this year but the judges were very impressed with the project, stating: “Impressive project management. This project clearly deserved to be shortlisted in this extremely competitive category. The element which particularly stood out to judges was the first-class project management.”

“A technically complex build was achieved despite huge logistical and space constraints. Judges were impressed with the amount of planning and work it took to ensure the stadium continued to operate during construction - particularly the decision to split the work into two halves.”

BCI Event Executive Harry Bower added: “Being a finalist at this event is an incredible achievement. The standard of the entries was high and judges commented on the consistently impressive presentations. It was clear, they said, that the presenters have a passion beyond bounds for their initiatives and projects.”

So, congratulations to Caddick Construction for being worthy finalists and here’s looking to 2020 for more industry-leading projects to reach completion.
