Hudson Rocket wins Best Design at Micklegate Run 2019

Hudson Quarter was proud to be a sponsor of the famous Micklegate Run soap box challenge and also enter the Hudson Rocket into the race.

An excellent collaboration between Palace Capital plc, Caddick Construction, Fuse Studios, The Ideas Group, Royal Pilgrim Communications and Harrison Signs, achieved getting to the final of the race and finishing in 8th place, out of 37 wonderful and wacky carts.

To cap a wonderful day, the Hudson Rocket was also crowned the ‘Best Designed Cart’ in the race.

The team’s endeavours also raised nearly £1,000 for Variety, The Children’s Charity, and a fantastic charity that helps those most in need across the UK which has been kindly match funded by our Chairman, Paul Caddick.

The Hudson Rocket was piloted by Nicola Jones from Caddick Construction, with Scott Ryalls from Fuse Studios, Jason Sims and Jodie Kellett from Caddick Construction and Ben Pilgrim from Royal Pilgrim Communications, key members of the successful team.
