Located in the busy city centre of York, Stonebow House was built in 1965 at the height of the post war commercial boom, for Renown Holdings PLC. The existing structural frame is constructed in concrete. Caddick Construction were awarded the contract for the alteration and refurbishment of Stonebow House. The works included a change of use from first to fifth floor from office accommodation to 17 high quality residential apartments which included an extension at roof level to create additional residential floor space. Works to the ground floor comprised of the creation of retail space with associated external alterations, car parking and associated works.
The workmanship is noticeably high quality and attention to detail a pleasure to see. You’ve obviously had a great team on site.
