The major redevelopment included a new rugby South Stand and a replacement for the 90-year-old joint rugby and cricket ground stand that overlooked both sides of the iconic sporting complex. The completed combined stand has 4,200 seats for cricket and 3,800 facing the rugby pitch. The new South Stand for the rugby ground has a capacity of 7,700 with 2,200 seats.

As a globally recognised, live, dual-purpose sports stadium, the team at Caddick Construction have managed the building works seamlessly ensuring stadium operations have not been compromised. The construction team have worked tirelessly with the stadium management team to intricately plan and phase the construction works so as to keep stadium fixtures and events on schedule and live.
