Caddick Construction North West granted The Bricks Site Recognition Award

A new residential development built by Caddick Construction has been named among a shortlist of sites in England and Wales to win an award for high standards of construction and site management.

Caddick Construction’s North West division has been awarded The Bricks Site Recognition Award by LABC Warranty for its delivery of Railway Arches in Leigh, a new affordable apartment development on behalf of Wigan Council.

Commended for standards of workmanship and overall management of the project, the Caddick Construction team was also shortlisted due to its health and safety performance and site tidiness.

Paul Dodsworth Managing Director of Caddick Construction Group, commented: “Accolades such as The Bricks Site Recognition Award are a huge achievement for our teams; they’re a deserving testament to the hard work and professionalism that we collectively put into keeping our sites and everybody safe while we deliver outstanding buildings.”

LABC names a winner each month, with a further shortlist produced at the end of the year, when only the best of those sites will be rewarded with The Bricks annual trophy - one of the construction industry’s most prestigious awards.

Sarah Sheppard, Technical Director at LABC Warranty, said: “It takes skill, commitment and a dedication to quality of construction for a site to receive The Bricks Site Recognition Award. Nothing pleases my team and I more than to see developments meet and maintain such high standards.”

LABC Warranty is one of the largest providers of structural warranties in the UK. Working in partnership with Local Authorities Building Control (LABC), its combined team of more than 3,700 surveyors work with house builders, contractors and housing associations.
