Caddick Construction Supports Cornerstone Charity in Manchester

Caddick Construction has given the Cornerstone Charity a helping hand, funding crockery and cutlery for the homeless take-out food initiative.

The company’s £500 donation will help the day centre provide services to vulnerable and disadvantaged adults in the local community helping it to purchase more eco-friendly disposable cups, bags and cutlery.

The Cornerstone charity is part of Caritas Diocese of Salford. It is dedicated to helping young people and families in addition to the vulnerable adults served by Cornerstone.

The Caddick Construction team took an interest in the vital support the day centre is giving to local people while working on the delivery of Base at the nearby Manchester Science Park.

Project Manager on the Base Building, Tom Maguire explains: “Cornerstone is going vital work to help disadvantaged adults and their families and we were keen to provide some support. Our donation will help the team continue to deliver the homeless take-out food service, something which has become all the more essential during the pandemic.”
