Caddick Construction wins International Safety Award

It’s World Day for Safety and Health at Work and Caddick Construction is celebrating winning the International Safety Award with a Distinction from the British Safety Council.

The award recognises the company’s commitment to keeping its workers and workplaces healthy and safe during the 2020 calendar year. Caddick Construction is one of only 85 organisations to win a Distinction in the International Safety Awards 2021.

In addition to a focus on health and safety on-site, the awards also acknowledge organisations that have shown commitment to wellbeing and mental health at work. Caddick Construction works closely with Hero to provide one-to-one health checks and screenings, wellbeing training for all direct line managers, mental health first aid training and ongoing wellbeing workshops throughout the year.

Mike Robinson, Chief Executive of the British Safety Council, congratulated Caddick Construction on its success in winning an International Safety Award with a Distinction, he said: “The award is in recognition of their commitment and hard work to keep their employees and workplaces free of injury and ill health.

“Our heartfelt congratulations to Caddick Construction. All of those working there should be enormously proud of their achievement.”

Adrian Dobson, Managing Director Caddick Construction said: “Winning a Distinction, the highest accolade, is testament to our team’s dedication in keeping all of our sites safe and healthy and we are proud of each and every one of them, particularly in such a challenging time.”
