New Worksop Art Gallery Contract

Caddick Construction has won a £4.2 million contract to create a new high quality gallery building at Welbeck Abbey in Worksop, which will display historic works from The Portland Collection.

Caddick Construction has been awarded the contract by Woodhouse Hall Developments Ltd. The new buiding will be situated next to the existing Harley Gallery at the Welbeck Abbey and the new facility will provide an entrance pavilion and two gallery spaces, as well as creating a large couryard area. The gallery will be housed within the walls of the Tan Gallop, a structure previously used for training race horses in the first world war.
