Npower contract awarded to Caddick

The Npower office in Leeds is a step closer to getting a makeover as Caddick Construction begins work to renovate the energy company’s facility in Seacroft.

The contract was awarded to Caddick in May by Npower. The work is expected to take around 10 months and will transform the existing office building and adjacent meter station and Hockney suite, providing additional office space, meeting rooms, kitchen, dining areas and washrooms.

Caddick will additionally undertake external works to the roof and the walls to the Meter Building.

All of the work will take place while staff at the facility continue working within the building, which will call for special measures in terms of health and safety as well as the use of equipment specifically designed for lower noise levels.
