Caddick has been awarded the contract to upgrade Hopwood Hall in Middleton, Manchester to provide additional college space and offer students a modern and compliant educational building.
The project includes an extension to the existing Refectory to the Henry West Building; the construction of a new extension to the Technical Centre, Technical Centre Annex and a new waste facility; refurbishment and alterations to the existing Technical Centre Annex and the construction of a new extension to the Annex rear.
All associated M&E services and drainage works will also be undertaken.
The works will be carried out in phases to minimise disruption to teaching and learning.
These new facilities will provide specialist teaching workshops as well as new classrooms, stores, staff rooms, meeting rooms, toilets and circulation areas.
