The development comprises the construction of 78 Passivhaus dwellings; 26nr 2-bed, 18nr 3-bed, 11nr 4-bed terrace houses, 6nr 1-bed apartments, 9nr 2-bed bungalows and 4nr 3-bed houses above 4nr 1-bed duplexes on the ground floor.

The homes will be well insulated with rooftop solar panels, including energy-efficient air-source heat pumps.

The buildings’ structure will be made of timber to keep the construction low-carbon and to Passivhaus certification.

There will also be the provision of 5nr self build plots with metered utility supplies.

External works include an access road, car park to accommodate 72 spaces, 27 of which will be in a purpose built car park, along with bin, air source heat pump and bicycle stores.  There will be landscaping to gardens and communal ginnels.  The homes will benefit from high-quality green spaces and tree-lined streets.
