Caddick Construction has welcomed Andy Trowell into the role of Construction Group Supply Chain Manager, as the business continues its strategic team growth following a series of senior hires.

Covering the North, Andy will be responsible for managing the Construction Group’s supply chain relationships, subcontractors and manufacturers.

He brings with him over 30 years of expertise in the construction industry, all of which has been spent in procurement and commercial roles. Andy joins the business from Wates, where he spent nine years in a similar position, managing the Yorkshire, North East and North West regions.

Andy is the latest new recruit at Caddick following the appointment of Steve Bell as Operations Director, Sue Currey as HR Business Partner, Neil Trubshaw as Construction Group Commercial Director, and Helen Drennan as Business Development Director.

Paul Dodsworth, Construction Group Managing Director, commented: “It is a pleasure to be welcoming Andy into the team as we continue to sustainably grow the business. Having worked with Andy previously I know his extensive expertise in building and nurturing supply chain relationships will be invaluable to Caddick, while working closely with our partners to ensure the businesses ESG goals are met will be vital to our strategy moving forward.”

“Caddick Groups’s ambitious ESG goals reach every corner of the business’ operations and incorporate key measures within the supply chain. We aim to ensure a diverse and supported supply chain, which includes SMEs and social enterprises, that help to improve local employment opportunities.”

Paul continues: “We also bid a fond farewell to our Procurement Director, Keith, who has been a true asset to the Caddick team throughout his 36 years in the business. We wish him all the best in his retirement.”

Speaking of his appointment, Andy commented: “In our current economic climate I feel it’s imperative to be able to form closer working relationships with our existing supply chain while engaging with new partners to enable us to deliver on our overall business plan and ESG strategy. I’m delighted to be joining the Caddick Construction Group at such an exciting time of expansion and growth for the business.”
