Caddick Celebrates Stability And Growth In Its Annual Results

Caddick Construction Group has today released its audited annual results for the year ending August 2023, which show the business on an upward trajectory with turnover up 38% to £318m and profit up to £7.4m.

The construction group, made up of Caddick Construction, CCL Facades, and Caddick Civil Engineering, has welcomed a year of steady and sustainable growth with senior appointments and promotions underpinning a future-proofed strategy.

We are delighted that:

  • Profit is up to £7.4m
  • Turnover is up 38% to £318m with forecast turnover for 23/24 of £400m
  • Net Assets are up 24% to £30m
  • Our forward order book is up 12% to £704m.

Speaking of the results, Construction Group MD, Paul Dodsworth comments: “We’ve undergone an exciting year of change, but have kept our focus on working with like minded-customers old and new, delivering exceptional projects and always treating our supply chain fairly.

“We’ve also made great strides in increasing our geographical reach over the past year with new offices in Birmingham and Durham, and we’ll soon be moving to our new Wakefield headquarters giving our 500-strong team a well-connected, modern and energised office from which we’ll continue to thrive.

He continues: “Balancing our portfolio continues to be a priority as we increase our presence in the public sector through a range of framework appointments, including NEPO’s £800m Construction Works Framework and the Procure Partnerships Framework.

“Our commitment to driving high standards in our industry has seen us recognised by the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS). We are setting the bar for our industry, achieving above industry averages of 44 out of 45 for our site inspections. Our standards in health and safety also continue to be high and we’re very proud of our industry leading achievements, which recently saw us win the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Order of Distinction Gold for the 21st consecutive year.”
