Caddick Shines For Considerate Construction With Record CCS Awards

Caddick Construction’s investment in its communities has been recognised by the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS), with the contractor securing a record 23 CCS National Site Awards.

The honours, which were awarded at the CCS’s awards ceremony in Manchester, saw Caddick take home 22 bronze and one silver award*, outperforming its success in 2024 when the business received 13 bronze awards.

Acknowledging excellence in considerate construction, the CCS National Site Awards are awarded to project teams that have made a meaningful difference and demonstrated effort to be considerate neighbours.

The awards recognise projects that sit in the top 11% of highest rated sites, praising those that create value in the community, and those that are respectful of the public, the workforce, and the environment.

Alongside Caddick’s award success, the project team at Ark42 in Trafford also recently secured a coveted score of 46 during a site inspection, reserved for projects that show outstanding examples of innovation.

Achieving the outstanding score, the social value team at Ark42 were commended by CCS for their work to support local charities and those in the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector (VCSE) through a specially designed mentor programme.

Caddick Construction has partnered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme for six years, with each of its projects registered to the Code of Considerate Practice. Over the past year the business has achieved an average site inspection score of 44.6 out of a possible 45 across its sites, exceeding the 40.7 industry average.
