Yorkshire construction sites recognised as ‘considerate’ at national award ceremony

Yorkshire construction sites recognised as ‘considerate’ at national award ceremony

Two Yorkshire construction sites managed by Knottingley-based business, Caddick Construction have been recognised at the Considerate Constructors Scheme’s National Site Awards.

The £100m prime distribution and logistics scheme, Crosspoint33 and an eco-friendly Vauxhall garage on Leeds City Ring Road were both handed a bronze award at a ceremony at Manchester’s Lowry Hotel.

The prestigious awards are handed to only 8% of registered construction sites, and aim to single out sites that demonstrate the scheme’s four-point code of considerate practice; care about appearance, respect the community, protect the environment and secure everyone’s safety.

Andrew Murray, Managing Director at Caddick Construction, comments: “We’re immensely proud of our workforce so it’s fantastic to see them recognised in this way. We have a number of Yorkshire projects in the pipeline at the moment and can reassure stakeholders that all our sites will be managed with the same level of care and conscientiousness.”
